the team
The people behind every placement
A tight team covering recruitment delivery, harvest oversight, payroll, compliance, and on-site supervision — the full pipeline, end to end.
Dean Nel
Production Manager
Dean oversees the full recruitment delivery pipeline, ensuring candidates are sourced, screened, and placed on time and to client standards. He manages workload across the recruitment team, standardises processes, and drives operational efficiency to meet client SLAs. Dean also heads up the financial side of the business, managing salaries and the full harvest payroll operation.
Griffin Marthinus
Site Manager
Griffin oversees picking teams in their daily tasks on the farm, helping them hit their targets and supervising the day-to-day placement of teams across the site. He manages absenteeism and serves as the critical link between the system and physical attendance. Griffin supervises team supervisors directly — holding them to strict standards of communication, guidance, and driving progress toward team targets — while ensuring all workers adhere to client rules, regulations, and PPE requirements.
Anezwa Hinana
Senior Admin
Anezwa has been a loyal and dedicated member of the Silent Seed team since 2022. She manages all admin-related queries and handles the verification of compliance documentation. Post-harvest, Anezwa processes UI-19s for seasonal workers, ensuring every team member is correctly documented and taken care of when the season ends.
Deoné Mankoepan
Junior Admin
Deoné is the direct link between the office and the harvest floor. She liaises with team supervisors and harvesters daily, managing attendance registers, clocksheet queries, and processing of hours. She handles salary advices and ensures all worker documentation is accurate and up to date. Deoné also manages all IOD (Injury on Duty) processes — from incident reporting through to claim submission — a full service we take off the client's hands. She is in charge of the incident reporting structure for all First Aiders, OHS Reps, and Fire Marshalls across deployed teams.
Zoey-Leigh Jarvis
Junior Admin Assistant
Zoey-Leigh supports the recruitment team with candidate administration, document verification, and communication. She collates timesheets, maintains compliance records, and serves as a first point of contact for sub-contractors and recruiters.
